Here are the WTCS results from the Richey-Lambert Invitational Track Meet held Thursday in Lambert, Montana. The Crusader boys finished 7th out of 13 teams with 39 points. Plentywood won the meet with 105 points. The Crusader girls finished 11th out of 13 teams with 4 points. Plentywood also won the girls title with 144 points.
 
“Overall the times and distances weren’t real stellar because it was such a cold and blustery day, but we did manage to produce some personal bests in the short sprints. The kids competed hard.” 
 
Gabriel Cartwright placed in all four of his events, including 3rd in the 200, 6th in the 100 and 400, and anchoring the 4 x 400 relay to a 2nd place finish. Seventh grader Eliseo Roblero placed 2nd in the 1600 and 4th in the 800, and 8th grader Corbin Brandt took 6th in the 1600 and 5th in the 800.

Dec. 12, 2019: It is a great day to be a CRUSADER! WTCS Senior & Track Athlete Ethan Decker signed to the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished. We look forward to seeing him run at the collegiate level. Way to go ETHAN!

*Boys 4 x 100 relay finished 2nd behind Rugby in a new school/co-op record (44.14).
