Mrs. Sheri Moonen, Director of Admissions, Marketing & Communication, is the coach for WTCS’ first year of the Lego Program.
FIRST LEGO League is offered to students in grades 4-8. This program teaches students about the core values of the Lego program, research/presentation skills, problem solving and robotics programming. Students meet once a week from August through January culminating in a qualifying tournament where their skills are put to the test.
LEGO Challenge Club is offered to students in grades 2 & 3. This program meets once a week from February-March as an introduction to the FIRST LEGO League. Students work on a different building challenge each week including catapults, fidget spinners, bridges, ziplines, and more!
